Darren McFadden Finished 2nd in the Heisman Voting for the 2nd straight year. McFadden was only the second player in college football history to gain that distinction. North Carolina running back Charlie Justice was a runner-up in 1947 and 1948. This year, Florida’s Tim Tebow took home the award. Tebow had 1957 points to McFadden’s 1703. Tebow became the first Sophomore to win the trophy. McFadden had the highest percentage of votes ever for a runner-up at 31 percent of votes.
I am a huge Gators, and Tebow fan but i do think Darren deserved it. Not just that Tebow will have two more years if he wants, but Mcfadden except for Oct had an amazing year. Just not sure how they could make him runner up two years in a row.
Typical NCAA BS. He will have a great career in the NFL.
