After an UGLY loss to Alabama (56-59) The Hoop Hogs found themselves firmly on the bubble. After the fantastic win over #18 Vandy (78-73), at home, the Hogs took a step off of that bubble. I’m not convinced that they’re safe (a loss at Ole Miss would hurt badly) but I think they’re chances are improving. ESPN seems to agree. The Diamond Hogs are 5-1 after a Friday win over Louisiana Tech (9-8) and their first loss of the season at Texas A&M (15-7).
The Men and Women Track Hogs are both in first place going into Sunday at the SEC Track Championships.
